Crypto Alert Telegram Bot: How We Built a Binance Futures Signal Bot That Scans 525 Pairs (Case Study)
Crypto markets never close, and the best moves often happen while you're asleep or watching a different chart. A crypto alert Telegram bot solves that: it scans the market for you around the clock and pings your phone the moment a coin matches your setup — with the chart already drawn.
In this case study we'll show a real bot we recently built for a trader: a Crypto Futures Alert Bot that scans 525 Binance USDT perpetual futures every 15 minutes and posts chart alerts to a Telegram channel. Then we'll cover the other kinds of crypto alert bots, and what it takes to build one around your own strategy.
The project at a glance: 525 Binance Futures pairs · 15-minute candles · multi-indicator signal engine (momentum, MACD, KDJ, RSI, exhaustion, CVD) · auto-generated charts with order blocks, fair value gaps and structure breaks · 1D/4H resistance and liquidity zones · fully configurable from Telegram.
What the Bot Sends
Every alert arrives as an auto-generated candlestick chart followed by a compact signal card. Here's what each line means:
| Field | What it tells the trader |
|---|---|
| Signal direction (green/red) | Long or short momentum, with a one-tap TradingView link for the coin |
| m15 Delta | How strongly the 15-minute candle moved |
| Exhaustion | Whether volume and volatility spiked abnormally — a possible blow-off move |
| Distance to MA20 / MA200 | How stretched price is from its short- and long-term averages, with warning emojis when extreme |
| RSI and MACD | Momentum confirmation |
| Price and % change | Current price and recent move |
| 1D / 4H resistance | Higher-timeframe levels price may react to |
| Liquidity zones | Volume-ranked price areas where buyers or sellers concentrated |
How the Signal Engine Works
The bot doesn't alert on every price move — it filters the whole market down to the few coins that match the client's setup. On every 15-minute candle close it pulls fresh data for all 525 pairs and runs them through a layered set of filters, built on the client's own logic:
- Momentum filter — only candles with a significant body move pass.
- MACD gap analysis — confirms momentum between the MACD and signal lines.
- KDJ oscillator — filters overbought and oversold conditions.
- RSI filter — optional extra confirmation.
- Exhaustion detection — flags abnormal volume and ATR spikes.
- Cumulative volume delta (CVD) — estimates buying vs selling pressure.
Every threshold is a setting, not hard-coded — so the trader can tighten or loosen the filters live from Telegram as market conditions change.
Smart Money Concepts on Every Chart
The charts are drawn by the bot itself in a dark, exchange-style theme, with the overlays traders actually use:
- Order blocks — bullish and bearish institutional zones.
- Fair value gaps — price imbalances that often get revisited.
- Structure breaks — break of structure (BOS) and change of character (CHoCH).
- MA20 and MA200 moving averages.
- Liquidity zones — support and resistance areas ranked by traded volume, filtered to show only significant levels.
Controlled Entirely From Telegram
/link— switch where alerts are sent to any group or channel instantly./test— send a test alert for any coin on demand.- Live settings — MACD threshold, RSI, KDJ, momentum filter, cooldown and timeframe, all adjustable by command.
No dashboards to log into and no code changes to retune the strategy — the trader manages everything from the same app the alerts arrive in.
Built to Run 24/7
- Python (async) with aiohttp, pandas and numpy for fast data processing across hundreds of pairs.
- Matplotlib chart generation for every alert.
- Telegram Bot API via python-telegram-bot.
- Binance Futures market data polled at each candle close.
- DigitalOcean VPS deployment.
- Memory-safe design — capped data structures and automatic state pruning, so the bot runs indefinitely without memory growth.
Sending alerts for many coins at once also has to respect Telegram's limits — see Telegram Bot API rate limits.

What a Custom Crypto Alert Bot Costs
- Simple price alerts — among the most affordable custom bots.
- Signal and trading bots — typically from around $400.
- Multi-indicator screeners with generated charts, SMC overlays and liquidity analysis — quoted per project based on your logic.
- Hosting — a small VPS, usually a few dollars a month (hosting costs).
Every project includes full source code, documentation and 30 days of free support.
⚠️ Not financial advice. Alert bots apply rules you define and tell you when they trigger. They don't guarantee profits — always use your own judgment and risk management.
The Bottom Line
A well-built crypto alert bot does the boring part of trading — watching hundreds of charts — so you only look when something matches your setup. This project scans 525 Binance Futures pairs every 15 minutes, draws the chart, marks the levels and lets the trader tune everything from Telegram. If you have a strategy, we can put it to work the same way.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a crypto alert Telegram bot?
It's a bot that monitors crypto markets automatically and sends a message to your Telegram chat, group or channel when conditions you define are met — a price level, a momentum move, an indicator signal or unusual volume.
Can a Telegram bot scan all Binance Futures pairs?
Yes. The bot in this case study checks all 525 Binance USDT perpetual futures pairs every 15 minutes, right after each candle closes, and only sends alerts for coins that pass its signal filters.
Can I use my own trading strategy in a crypto alert bot?
Yes. A custom bot is built around your logic — your indicators, thresholds, timeframes and filters — and the settings can be adjustable from Telegram commands so you can tune them without touching code.
How much does a custom crypto alert bot cost?
Simple crypto price alert bots are among the cheapest custom bots. Signal and trading bots typically start from around $400, and multi-indicator screeners with generated charts and liquidity analysis are quoted per project based on the logic involved.
Are crypto alert bots financial advice?
No. An alert bot is a tool that applies rules you define and tells you when they trigger. It doesn't guarantee profitable trades — always manage your own risk.
